I took this photo on a Friday night after making the rounds of the local bars. I was a bit tipsy, and fell asleep on the back seat of the car soon after starting the exposure (no, of course I didn't drive the car, I pushed it the whole way!). So I managed to overexpose my estimated exposure by two hours. The original negative material was 4X5 color, which shows amazing resistance to blocking by overexposure. I since became enamored of printing it on black and white paper. The negative prints without even blocking in the interior area, which was lit by 100 watt light bulbs. Click for a larger image. And, when in doubt, drink heavily. More about night exposures.
